It is being used by emergency services across the globe to accurately locate individuals requiring assistance. By downloading this free app, it will provide an accurate 3-word code for your location. We will be using this system to expedite the mechanical or medical support that we provide on the event and advise if you haven’t already, to download the app and try it out.

Q: How do I sign up a team?

The booking page on this website will allow you to book up to 20 riders in one go. You’ll just need your teammates name and email addresses. If you would prefer an invoice, so the places are reserved and you can provide the names at a later date please email info@londonbrightoncycle.co.uk and we can arrange this for you!

Q: Can I ride for any charity?

Yes! You can ride for any UK charity whether that’s a big national charity or a local cause close to your heart. During the booking process you can select your charity from a dropdown list of charities. The top option on the dropdown states ‘I’m riding for a charity not listed on the list below’ which allows you to ride for any charity not listed. Don’t forget we have official charity partners who you can ride for and join their teams. Places are limited for our official charities so secure your place here.

Q: Is this a closed road event?

No, certain sections of the route are closed to other road users, such as Ditchling Beacon but the majority of the route will take place on open roads.

Q: Are you still operating transport back to London after the ride?

Yes, details of this will be confirmed very soon and everyone signed up to the event will receive an email with information of how to book their seat.

Q: Are people allowed to come and cheer me on?

There will be no cheer points on the route, but spectators are welcome at the finish line in Brighton.

Q: How will the finish work?

Due to the nature of participants spreading out over the course of the day, there will still be an opportunity to celebrate your achievements at the finish line, and our charity village will still be in operation as normal. We will however be asking participants not to spend too long at the finish line, and as a result we will unfortunately not be having a bar at this year’s event. There are however, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby on Brighton seafront that will be open for business.
